POSITION AND FUNCTIONS

1. The Office of the Provincial People’s Committee is a specialized agency under the Provincial People’s Committee, functioning as the advisory and assisting body that supports the operations of the Provincial People’s Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.

2. The Office of the Provincial People’s Committee is responsible for advising and assisting the Provincial People’s Committee on: the programs and working plans of the Committee and its Chairman; administrative procedure control; organizing and implementing the “one-stop-shop” and inter-agency “one-stop-shop” mechanisms in the settlement of administrative procedures under the authority of the locality; organizing, managing, and publishing official information on the activities of the Provincial People’s Committee and its Chairman; serving as the focal point of the e-Portal and ensuring connectivity of the electronic administrative information system to support the leadership, direction, and administration of the Provincial People’s Committee and its Chairman; managing the Official Gazette; and ensuring general operational support for the Provincial People’s Committee. The Office also assists the Chairman and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People’s Committee in performing their duties and powers as prescribed; and manages the internal administration of the Office.

3. The Office of the Provincial People’s Committee has legal personality, its own seal, and an independent bank account.
