At the meeting, Mr. Le Tri Ha, Chief of the Provincial People’s Committee Office delivered a speech reviewing the 80-year history of the Government Office Agencies. On August 28, 1945, President Ho Chi Minh proclaimed the establishment of the Provisional Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, in which the State Administrative Office system officially became an indispensable part of government leadership and administration. On July 22, 2004, the Prime Minister designated August 28 as the Traditional Day of Government Office Agencies. Since then, this has been an occasion for generations of office officials to recall their proud traditions and renew their determination to fulfill assigned tasks.

Over the past 80 years, the staff of the Offices of the National Assembly Delegation, the Provincial People’s Council, and the Provincial People’s Committee have always been dedicated and responsible, making important contributions to national construction and development. The Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People’s Council effectively organized legislative sessions, implemented the “paperless meeting” model, and promoted digital transformation.

The Office of the Provincial People’s Committee fulfilled its advisory and coordinating role, accelerated administrative reform, saved society hundreds of billions of VND, and consistently maintained high rankings in PAR INDEX and SIPAS.

With strong support from provincial leadership, working facilities and conditions have been increasingly modernized, enabling timely and effective advisory and service work.

For their contributions, the Offices have been honored with many prestigious awards from the Party, the State, the Government, and the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee praised the achievements of the two Offices and emphasized the tasks ahead: The offices continue innovating working methods, improving advisory, coordination, and service quality; promoting IT application and digital transformation; strengthening administrative reform; building a disciplined, modern, and professional working environment; pay attention to building a contingent of officials who are both politically steadfast and professionally competent, with a focus on training young staff; uphold administrative discipline, foster a culture of public service, and enhance responsibility and service to the people; pay greater attention to and take better care of the material and spiritual well-being of officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers; build a creative, humane, and compassionate working environment that motivates each individual to strive and contribute.

With the proud 80-year tradition, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan expressed his belief that the two Offices will continue to demonstrate intelligence, creativity, and determination, overcoming all difficulties to excel in their tasks, thereby contributing to building Lao Cai into a fast-growing, sustainable, prosperous, and happy province.
